Pianists and other musicians

In addition to equestrians, we have several pianists in the family (hmmm.... we must have English blood in us, ya think?)

Becka Cronin is currently taking piano lessons. I asked if her mom or dad played and she said, no, her mom knew the notes, but it was Grandma Dennison who played. Tammy and Lisa took lessons as kids. The Weber kids also take (or took) lessons. Rose and Jasmine took piano lessons, but not their younger siblings (don't know why, just got too busy/expensive with four/five kids, I guess). As adults, Linda and Sue both took piano lessons and both play quite well.

Tammy also played guitar, Rose played the alto saxophone, and Jasmine, for a year, the flute. Did you or your kids play any other instruments? If so, what?

Do you remember Anna Dennison playing the piano? What did she like to play? Please share those memories with us by clicking on the "comments."

Brett also took piano from when he was 7 until he graduated high school. Once he had his last recital he said, "I'm never playing piano again". He thought boys shouldn't play piano. Well, last year he got a huge keyboard, and is playing again.

I saw under articles about pianists regarding Grandma Dennison playing the piano. She loved to play the piano and one year at Christmastime she played the piano at Linda"s home for everyone to enjoy. Her favorite song was "the old rugged cross" and her second favorite song was "Achy Breaky Heart. One of her favorite sayings was ,"Ain't gonna buy no ugly truck." Just a note I like to play the organ and can play many songs on it quite well.
